Review: Wes Anderson is one of the most original filmmakers working today. None of his films can be categorized into any specific genre. His last Grand Hotel Budapest, which opened the Berlin Film Festival continues this trend. It is a story within a story within another story. Although every shot was carefully arranged as if the artwork hanging in the museum, story wise Anderson let your imagination run wild. While the story (Tom Wilkinson as the author of the story) story story (with Jude Law as the young author & F Murray Abraham as the owner of the mysterious Grand Budapest Hotel) has a simple story story story story which consists of a film and is set in the years before World War II, was on the train wild frenetic narrative. She is also a life-time actor Ralph Fiennes, Tilda Swinton, Edward Norton, Adrien Brody, Willem Dafoe, Harvey Keitel, Jeff Goldblum, Bill Murray, Owen Wilson & More cameos. It will delight fans of Anderson, but more probably intended for art house cinema, because it is too off-center to the mass audience. Design and production of music and end credits is excellent imagination (and received another standing ovation from the audience).
