Review: This movie scene by scene ishardly recognize Brian De Palma's Carrie brilliant. Yes, it's impossible to compare any remake of the original version, especially when the original is considered a classic. It is sad that these days with the lack of originality, even seemingly talented director as Kimberly Peirce, less commercial appeal of cinema in the sole interest of monetary gains resulting dilute the quality. Well, I'm not yet convinced that this movie will make its money back, because mediocrity in all aspects of its quality. But then again, there is a lot of garbage out there to make a ton of money. All efforts to reflection, or the attempt to create a franchise or a continuation or upgrade narrative is completely undermine the essence of this otherwise fascinating history. Destructiveness of social exclusion, religious bigotry, bullying, to name just a few highlights from the Stephen King novel in no way been successfully transferred in this film. There is a lack of communication in Moretzs performance and is convincing as the socially disadvantaged and awkward girls. Julianne Moore as always delivers relevant department. However, it can be performed only movie ever. As talented as Moretz that miscast for this film. Thus, the film is moderately entertaining at best.
