Review: The film loosely based on the poem written thousands of years ago, director and screenwriter has done an excellent job in re-creating the epic story of the ancient world of the screen, which can be quite a daunting task. Production is excellent visual effects are great, but I think Troy is divided into two: The film is constructed in such a way that we, the audience, are not entirely sure who the bad guys. Brad Pitts Achilles displayed as stars, a hero, but he fought for the Greeks, who displayed a ruthless warrior under the tyranny of greed, Agamemnon. In fact, the Trojan War started just because greed king of Sparta, Menelaus. Paris, Prince of Troy (son of Priam, king) are Helen, wife of Menelaus, back to Troy with him security meeting in Sparta. This so enraged Menelaus and Agamemnon, brother, encircle the Greek army to attack Troy and get her. Instead, some sort of Trojan is shown as well. Just because a mistake made in Paris, the Trojan must now withstand the onslaught of 50,000 Greeks, and the loss of thousands of men, sons and relatives in the process. Hector is portrayed as a family man: He does not want to fight, PDU instead of staying home with his wife and newborn child, but he is loyal to Troy and must fight for it. This is slightly different from the Trojan War has always been presented to me: Helen not get away with Paris, but Paris seduce and said he was kidnapped with him to Troy. Hector is a brutal warrior who had no problem with killing many people as you possibly can. I really like the way the film shows how good the Trojans and the Greeks as bad, evil, greed. Definitely a new and original approach to film-wise story.Production is amazing. Costumes, sets, and weapons? more is top-notch, with excellent attention to detail. It is also visually stunning. Brad Pitt filmed standing on the deck of the ship with the camera slowly zooming out, finally revealing the entire Greek navy consisted of 1,000 ships is truly treat for the eyes. Computer graphics are very good. It is really difficult to say the big battle scene that soldiers and adding computer graphics, although you know that some of them have to be CG, because there are so many. Long shots of Troy also is great eye candy. In all, the one thing this movie is brilliant fun, and it is definitely a visually satisfying movie.The acting is also quite good. Brian Cox as Agamemnon definitely stand the power-hungry. Acting is top-notch. Peter OToole is also good as Priam, king of Troy. Eric Bana as Hector's great, although I do not think he physically matches. Brad Pitt is not as bad as I fear it will. In fact, the acting is quite good. Which brings me to my second point of view: Although Brad Pitts acting is quite good, I just do not think it suits the character of Achilles. It seems as if Brad Pitt was not very comfortable with the character of Achilles, so he took it and dress it in connection with its own personality, which changes the character a bit. Physically, though, he looks perfect for the part. Eric Bana, on the other hand, is the opposite. He really captured the essence of the character of Hector, and great acting, but I do not think he physically matches. Hes just kind of small and scrawny, while Hector should be higher and more muscular than Achilles, it's not like it looks in the movies. It also seems that his character too weak. Hes supposed to be the greatest fighter on Earth, matched only by Achilles, but he struggled a bit just to kill Achilles cousin, who has never even been in a fight before. When you see how easy Achilles killed the giant soldier originally many movies, that kind of makes ...
