Review: I understand now why Sin City 2 is less well critically acclaimed then the first one. There are a couple of Reasons I found while watching.First, the first Movie could Cherry Pick the Stories and it took, in my opinion, the two best of them. While I like Frank Millers Comics, I do not consider every Novel to be great. Some are, again in my opinion, not that remarkable. I consider the Novel A Dame to Kill for as pretty weak and it did not really change on the Big Screen.Second, the Gap Filler Stories. The one with the Card Game was actually not that bad but it was short and really did nothing to the overall Movie. I liked it but it was too little too random. The Vengeance Story brought conclusion where none was needed. With a little lesser Violence, this Story could have been from Walt Disney. Absolutely unnecessary.All in all, this Sequel feels empty of a certain Spirit. While Marv(Mickey Rourke) almost succeeded to bring some of it on screen, it was not nearly enough to save the Movie.There might be just enough in this Movie to keep a Score around 6 overall but for me personally (and sadly) its just a 3/10.
